Mary Elizabeth’s Clothing

Patience is a 16” art doll inspired by the 18th century. Her embroidered silk dress closed in back with laces, is trimmed with vintage lace. The undergarments include cotton stays (or corset), stockings, bloomers, striped silk petticoat, cotton petticoat, and pocket. She wears blue silk shoes with handmade rhinestone buckles. Her clothing is removable. She has a blonde mohair wig, hand-painted blue eyes, and a cloth body. Patience is made of a strong mix of polymer clay with an articulated head and painted with Genesis paints. Each leg has a tube and rod to fit her onto the included wood stand. 

Patience is stamped with the artist’s mark on the back of the neck and comes with a signed hangtag, certificate of authenticity, and an International Art Doll Registry number.

Patience won First Place in the Professional Dollmakers Art Guild 2022 Gold Award Professional Child or Teen category.
